Explore Cape Charles

A community
before a company.

It started with Jim,
and a love of this town.

Long before 629 Coastal Collective, Jim created Explore Cape Charles as a way to share the places, people, and experiences that make this town so special.

Over the years, it has grown into a community of people who love Cape Charles as much as we do.

The local perspective on a place we call home

Today, that same local perspective is part of what we bring to 629 Coastal – an understanding of the town, its history, its neighborhoods, its businesses, and the experience people come here to enjoy.

Follow up on our previous post about our restoration of one of the original Shanty doors. We feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire this piece and show it some love. The Shanty has been the backdrop for some of our favorite memories over the years, to have a piece of it in our home means a great deal to us. Here’s to many more Shanty sunsets and memories 🌅 🌊
