For more than two decades, Kadie has built her career leading large-scale real estate operations.

Throughout her career, she has overseen multimillion-dollar property portfolios, operational strategy, financial performance, capital projects, customer experience, vendor management, and high-performing teams.

Her background extends beyond operations.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely on renovations, capital improvements, model homes, amenity spaces, and community enhancements—developing an eye for design that recognizes how thoughtful details influence both guest perception and property value.

Whether preparing a home for photography, recommending updates that elevate the guest experience, or ensuring every detail reflects the quality of the property, she believes great hospitality begins long before a guest arrives. Her operational experience and design perspective allow every home to be managed with both business discipline and aesthetic intention.

Behind the Operations

Jim first discovered Cape Charles during a camping trip in 2005, and immediately saw something special—a place rich in character, natural beauty, and endless possibility. In 2010, he purchased a second home in the Cape Charles historic district, and over the years has had the privilege of watching Cape Charles evolve while still maintaining the qualities that made it so remarkable in the first place.

Professionally, Jim spent more than two decades in an executive capacity at a Fortune 100 company. His career centered on leading complex operations at scale, creating exceptional customer experiences, and building high performing teams. Together with Kadie, he co-founded 629 Coastal Collective to bring that same level of intentional care, attention to detail, and operational excellence to the homeowners and guests of the place they love the most, Cape Charles and Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
