Cape Charles is the kind of town that invites you to slow down and explore. Spend the morning along the Chesapeake Bay, wander the shops and galleries on Mason Avenue, grab lunch or dinner at a local favorite, and make your way back to the water for a sunset you won’t want to miss. The town beach offers calm Bay waters, while nearby Central Park, the fishing pier, boutiques, restaurants and local treats give you plenty to do between beach days.

Food is part of the experience here, too. From fresh Eastern Shore seafood and waterfront dining to coffee, pizza, cocktails and ice cream, Cape Charles has a surprisingly good dining scene for such a small town.

Bringing a boat? This cottage makes that especially easy with space to park it at the property, putting you in a great position to enjoy Cape Charles by land or by water.

Guests will have private access to the entire home and outdoor spaces throughout their stay, including the large, partially fenced backyard, private outdoor seating area, grill, and on-site parking. The property offers plenty of room for vehicles and convenient space for guests traveling with a boat.

Self check-in makes arrival easy, and detailed access instructions will be provided before check-in. Any locked owner or maintenance closets are reserved for property operations and are not accessible to guests.

The home is outside Cape Charles town limits. Plan to drive to town and the beach; the property does not have golf cart access. The yard is partially fenced.

Dog-friendly and made for easy coastal stays. A maximum of two dogs is permitted. Pet fees and restrictions apply: $125 for the first dog and $75 for the second ($200 total for two dogs). Please include all dogs in your reservation.

The cottage features a large, partially fenced backyard with plenty of room for four-legged guests, plus a serene private outdoor space with a grill for relaxing after a day at the beach.

Bringing a boat? You’re in luck. Unlike many properties in Cape Charles’ Historic District and Bay Creek, this home offers convenient on-site space for boat parking, making it an especially easy home base for guests planning time on the water.

Please note that there are a few small interior step-ups within the home.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in accordance with local noise requirements. Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep pets supervised while outdoors.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early arrivals or late departures require prior approval.

Only registered guests may stay overnight. Maximum occupancy must not exceed the property’s approved guest limit.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily, indoors and outdoors. Keep noise from disturbing neighbors at all times. No outdoor amplified entertainment during quiet hours. Stricter applicable local or community rules control.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the entire Property, indoors and outdoors.

Up to two dogs are permitted only with advance written approval. Fees per stay: $125 for the first dog and $75 for the second dog, disclosed and accepted before booking. Dogs must be house-trained, supervised and controlled; no unattended dogs outdoors. Remove waste promptly and keep dogs off uncovered furniture and bedding and out of pools or hot tubs. Actual supported damage and extraordinary cleaning remain the guest responsibility. Lawful assistance animal accommodations apply without prohibited fees or documentation demands.

Parties, events, large gatherings, fireworks and unauthorized commercial activities are prohibited. Visitors require advance written approval. Only the registered party may stay overnight, within the approved occupancy limit.

Park only in designated or legally permitted areas. Do not block neighboring driveways, sidewalks, or public access.

Please treat the home and furnishings with care. Report accidental damage or maintenance concerns promptly so we can assist.

Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. Do not share access codes with anyone outside your reservation.

Please dispose of trash in designated containers and maintain reasonable cleanliness throughout your stay.

For direct bookings, cancel in writing to hello@629coastal.com. Deadlines are 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the date 30 or 14 calendar days before arrival. By the 30-day deadline: refund 100% of total rent. After the 30-day deadline through the 14-day deadline: refund 50% of total rent. After the 14-day deadline: total rent is nonrefundable. Total rent excludes fees, taxes and refundable deposits. Unused cleaning and pet fees, other mandatory fees and unperformed optional services are refunded except actual, documented, irrevocable third-party costs whose retention was disclosed and accepted before booking and is permitted by law and channel rules. Recoverable or avoided costs are refunded. Taxes are adjusted as required. A refundable deposit is returned for a canceled stay without occupancy or supported damage. Direct cancellation refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 10 business days, or sooner if required. Bank posting time is additional. Future installments stop upon cancellation, subject only to a lawful cancellation balance after reconciliation. Early departures and no-shows receive no rent refund except as required by law or the accepted policy. For Vrbo reservations, the cancellation policy and calculation accepted through Vrbo control. If Manager declines to confirm a reservation, all amounts collected by Manager are refunded within five business days or sooner if required.
